Tunnel Vision

Saturday, December 30th, 2006

While driving through the numerous underpass and tunnels during the traffic holidays, I’ve noticed a nice visual:

Face Lift

Tuesday, December 26th, 2006

This morning started out early. I’m here at my desk at 8am. So I had some spare time to do some more cosmetic changes to the front page. I am trying out this color scheme for now, seeing how I might like it for the next couple of days. I’m also still trying [...]

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Tuesday, December 26th, 2006

So, I didn’t win that contest… I decided to take that silly “Dear Santa” post down. (I know, I’m just a sour loser)
Even a day after Christmas, let me greet everyone a Merry Christmas. Here are 2 e-cards I made for 2 clients this season:

Live Editing

Sunday, December 17th, 2006

Now I made some sense of the grid.. the content area will be 600px, while the side bar will be split into 2 columns, 200px and 160px, to complete the 960px page width. What’s nice is that I am doing this “live” and not doing it first on my local disk then uploading. [...]

Le Grid

Sunday, December 17th, 2006

I’ve been busy cleaning and installing stuff on my host server. One of them is a site traffic tracking tool called mint. It was developed by a web designer. So it really looks pretty, which is one of the reason why I chose that over the other traffic monitoring softwares out there. [...]

Touch Screen Interface

Friday, December 15th, 2006

While I was reading the November issue of I.D., one of my favorite magazines, I came across a small article about the multi-touch screen interface by Jeff Han. I saw a video of this a while back and it was big on YouTube. It was interesting… but what interests me more are the [...]

Heat Signals

Thursday, December 14th, 2006

Searched the web for the term heat signals… but found out what I actually wanted to look for was “Thermography.” Here are some nice visual pegs kept here for future reference. Note to self: the key is in the interaction.

This one reminded me of Levin and Reas’ old work Dakadaka

Ze font

Wednesday, December 13th, 2006

First in my agenda before I get started on the actual creation of sketches is to at least make this blog better looking. Opting for small steps, I first chose the font: Lucida Grande.  I first bumped into this font used as a web typeface when I was studying CSS.  It seems like the [...]

Start Anywhere

Wednesday, December 13th, 2006

My wife sent a text to me this morning inspiring me to start creating. She said, “Remember, start anywhere :)” She always inspires me. So here… this is my start. This is where I will start documenting my work in progress, no matter how little.
