
While I was reading the November issue of I.D., one of my favorite magazines, I came across a small article about the multi-touch screen interface by Jeff Han. I saw a video of this a while back and it was big on YouTube. It was interesting… but what interests me more are the future developments of this technology. The article says that the team of Han is looking at recognizing not just multiple touch but which finger touches what. It reminded me of a concept I developed 3 years ago for my interview for my application to Interaction-Ivrea. I called it the one-hand interface… using limited mobility but getting maximum communication. I still have the flash site. Here is a screenshot:
