Face Lift

This morning started out early. I’m here at my desk at 8am. So I had some spare time to do some more cosmetic changes to the front page. I am trying out this color scheme for now, seeing how I might like it for the next couple of days. I’m also still trying to figure out the templating system of wordpress. This is my first Wordpress blog, I use Movable Type in my other blog.

If you have the font Clarendon installed on your machine, then you will see that the headlines are in the same font as my logo. I’ve been using this logo in some form for about 2 years now. I think I will stick with it for a while because of its Helvetica type qualities: plain, straightforward, and flexible. Admittedly I got the idea about this font from this article by Jeffrey Zeldman.  Below the business card I give out to my clients, Clarendon being the primary typeface:
