If you read this site through a browser and not through a reader, you will notice that I added a small text thing on the side.  This is a badge from twitter.  This is very cool because I just have to add the Twitter IM Buddy to my list of buddies (using AIM/iChat) and I can send it snippets of what I am doing or what I’m feeling at the moment. This then gets displayed on the side of this page.

Twitter isn’t actually designed for only this feature.  It was meant to send updates to your friends’ IMs and mobile phones.  I think that is too intrusive though.  So I believe that this is the feature that will work best for me and probably everyone.  It was made by the same creators of Odeo (podcast feeder), which apparently they are selling to focus resources on twitter.
