Yesterday I had a short lecture at UP (University of The Philippines) with the topic of “Introduction to Photoshop.” The event was organized by the UP Association of Computer Science Majors (UP CURSOR) and the Association of Computing Machinery (UP ACM). It was Reg of AUGPhil that volunteered me to teach, I gladly accepted.
Although this wasn’t my first time to do a lecture, it is the first time that the topic was photoshop. It was a good and enjoyable experience as I always wanted to teach. There were at least 25 people in the class, maybe 35. My topics covered basic concepts in photoshops such as layers, masks, tools, selection, etc. The class lasted about 3 hours and I left the students with files to play around with. I also got an email from one of the students, that made my day:
“…the talk was great and the tricks were innumerable and astounding! Thanks!”
