The International Design Excellence Awards are dedicated to fostering business and public understanding of the importance of design excellence to the quality of life and the economy. Winning the IDEA is a distinction like no other that brands your design as the very best in the business, among your peers, among your clients, among consumers around the world.

Their major sponsor, Businessweek also has a gallery of the winning products.

These are a great selection of creativity and design, but one of the products that caught my eye was the product called LOMAK (light operated mouse and keyboard) because of their solution to a problem that is close to my heart and I think they solved it pretty well. My solution still required one hand, theirs required none.. maybe just a flexible enough neck. I’d like to see though how it works and how responsive it is.
