Yesterday I had a short lecture at UP (University of The Philippines) with the topic of “Introduction to Photoshop.” The event was organized by the UP Association of Computer Science Majors (UP CURSOR) and the Association of Computing Machinery (UP ACM). It was Reg of AUGPhil that volunteered me to teach, I gladly [...]

Guess what came in the mail today…

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

If there was an event that would make me stop working, considering my recent hectic schedule, to post an entry in my blog, it is this! I’d like to share my joy this morning when I got something in the mail: my Adobe CS3 prize! And to my surprise, when I opened the [...]

Woohoo! Thanks to Regnard and the Adobe User Gruoup Philippines. Remember that I won an Adobe Studio 8 last Phil Blog Awards? Well Regnard, president of AUGPhil, was able to get approval from Adobe to upgrade that prize into Adobe Creative Suite 3. It contains new versions of Photohop, Illlustrator, InDesign and Acrobat. Monday, April 2nd, 2007

Here is a list of the winners. I didn’t get to bring home the “Best Blog Design” title, that went to well deserved Far From Neutral, but I didn’t come home empty handed. Adobe Users Group Philippines (AUGPhil) raffled off a license to Adobe Studio 8 and I was the lucky ticket holder! Whoowee. [...]

Joomla Workshop

Monday, March 12th, 2007

Yesterday I attended a workshop on Joomla. Joomla is a Content Management System (CMS) for websites. It was nice because the person who held it was someone from the core team of joomla: Johan Janssens, a lead developer. It started out as an “evangelist” session where they introduced joomla and showed its [...]

Oops I did it

Saturday, March 3rd, 2007

I was hesitant to enter my site in the philippine blog awards 2007. But guess what? I did. I don’t think I will win in the main category of “personal site,” just because of the amount of nominees. But I hope I have a chance in the special awards category “best design”
I [...]

Still a lot of work to do

Friday, March 2nd, 2007

I considered submitting my site to the Philippine Blog Awards but I realize that my template is so incomplete! I’ve got so much more templating fixes to do. When I can find the time to do them still escapes me. But I do get some joy every time something I edit in [...]

An old friend from Interaction-Ivrea days, Sergio Paoloantonio, decided to take his vacation in the lovely beaches of Boracay, Philippines. Before going there Sergio had a night in manila. We took this chance to bring him out and around town. It was nice to see a friend from that time. It [...]
